Open Question: skyrim - lost data. new character advice?

my lvl 51 argonian is no more :( ps3 ylod..... i havent backed up my save, so im starting afresh. i was thinking i might go as a wood elf (bosmer), with points heavily in archery, pickpocketing, sneak, alchemy and enchanting (as well as lockpicking). my philosophy for ignoring magic = high alchemy means i wont need restoration, whilst high enchanting means i can make sets of items that will reduce the magicka cost to practically nothing!!!! this means i can increase my health points as well. what do you guys think? any character advice? or just general skyrim talk :D cheers

Open Question: What is a bow and arrow (archery) capabale of?

This is just out of curiosity because archery is quite fascinating to me. I wanna know a lot about what a bow and arrow is capable of, what type of bow deals more force (i forgot what its called ahaha), which type of bow is mostly well-rounded, what arrow is most deadly, etc. And please leave any other facts that you think might catch my attention. Thank you all that leave an answer. And i mean a detailed answer, not a five word answer.

Open Question: Looking to Begin Archery?

I suddenly had an interest in the sport and possibly hunting with archery. I have had no experience before and neither have any family members. How would I get started, mainly an inexpensive way to experiment with the sport to see if I like it, and where do I go from there should I decide I like it?
